The Honey Bun cake

In Northeast Arkansas, we received a huge snow for this area. My Mom came over to stay with us just in case the power went off. We decided to try a new recipe a friend had given me.

This recipe is a keeper! It is good hot or cold. Try it out!!!

Honey Bun Cake

Yellow cake mix
3/4 cup oil
8oz sour cream
2 tablespoon cinnamon
1 cup brown sugar
4 eggs

Mix cake mix, oil, eggs and sour cream. Spread 1/3 of batter in a 9x13 greased cake pan.
Top with brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread remainder of batter over sugar. Bake at 325 for 35-40 minutes.

Icing
1 tablespoon butter
8 tablespoons milk
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix, pour over hot cake.
