My Life...

I used to be an avid coupon shopper and bargain hunter. I'd search the net for good deals and compare prices on everything. Then, my Mother had a brain aneurysm on Easter Sunday of 2007. I had always been there for Mom after Daddy passed. We shopped for bargains together and she was my best friend(still is).

After here hospital and rehab stay, my life change again. The rehab did wonders for her, but we still lost the lady we knew before the aneurysm. My Mom is 79. She doesn't think as fast as she used to or write as well. She gets upset because she can't do the things she used to. I was used to an active person, even though she had bad knees and had trouble walking alot. I do her standing chores, sweeping, mopping, etc. She does the best she can and I help her with the rest. I'm her banker, driver, house cleaner, and daughter. I love her and do not mind the extra work load.
We do not have any childern of our own. We just have furry babies. We have a niece that is very special to us. We borrow her every other Friday night to be our own. She is now 14 years old. Kelby is our "borrowed daughter". We love her as our own. We are thankful to her Mom for sharing her with us.

I need to get back into saving money to pay for the gas it takes to go back and forth helping my Mom. I decided this was my year to get back on track. I will buy items cheaply and share the items or sale them at a yard sale.
I have been trying to enter more sweepstakes in hopes of winning one again. I've been lucky in the past, and hope to be in the near future.

I will try to help you find bargains and save money along the way. I'm new to blogging so hang with me. My life is never dull and full of stories.
